Hello everyone! I would like to share with all of you what we have been doing these last few weeks during the English classes.
We have discovered a story called DEAR ZOO, written by Rod Campbell. It's a lift-the-flap book.
It tells the story of a child who writes a letter to the zoo asking them to send her a pet. After several attempts, she finally receives the perfect pet!
We have read the story in various formats (book, song with puppets, interactively on the digital whiteboard...)
And we have also done different activities around the story that have allowed us to learn the name of the different animals (camel, elephant, giraffe, snake, frog, lion, puppy,...), their most characteristic feature (grumpy, big, tall, scary, jumpy, fierce, ...) as well as their different movements (stomp like an elephant, crawl like a snake, jump like a frog, roar like a lion,...):
